Every year, adh sends around 500 student athletes to international matching competitions, the European University Championships (EUC), the World University Championships (WUC) and the FISU World University Games. While every student athlete may qualify for the EUC via successful participation in German University Cahmpionships, student athletes who qualify for WUC and the University Games are usually elite athletes from the federal cadres of their respective sports. Student national teams from different sports are regularly part of bilateral country matching competitions and international student tournaments. Members of student national teams are usually athletes from national leagues in their respective sports.
