At Zentrum für Hochschulsport, only students and university employees may currently participate in the sports program. While on SportCAMPUS, everyone has to adhere to strict hygiene and behavioral guidelines. The health and well-being of everyone on SportCAMPUS takes top priority for us, which is why we currently offer an adapted outdoor-only class program.

MUTUAL AID DURING THE CORONA CRISIS

This unique situation requires rethinking and revising of a lot of old patterns. We would like to use the foundational principles of our Buddy Project to help support our community. The Buddy Project initially helped form tandems consisting of people with and without disabilites who visit classes in our sports program together, to increase accessibility. We're transferring this idea to the current situation and would like to offer you the opportunity to engage in mutual aid.

Notes:

  • our mutual aid service cannot replace mutual aid between relatives or your direct neighbours/community, but may supplement in situations where there might not be relatives or close friends who can run errands
  • volunteer supporters will be notified of a person in need of aid via phone or email by us
  • all further arrangements will be made between the two parties (person in need + volunteer)
  • please abstain from close contact when you meet and keep a distance of 2 meters / 6 feet
You would like to offer mutual aid or are in need of support?
