WINTER SEMESTER 2021/2022

Winter semester classes at Leibniz University will be in-person. As a result, Hochschulsport will offer an in-person program as it had before the pandemic.

Access to SportCAMPUS only in compliance with 2Gplus-rules

From December 1st, 2021, all persons wishing to access facilities on SportCAMPUS must adhere to 2Gplus-rules. This means that participation in the university sports program is now only possible if a complete proof of vaccination or proof of recovery AND a certified negative test proof is available (POC not older than 24 hours and PCR not older than 48 hours). Self-testing is not acceptable. Without an appropriate legitimation at the entrance control, participation in the sports offers (incl. use of CAMPUSFit, sauna, KletterCAMPUS, individual use of sports facilities) is not possible.

Testing in Hanover is currently possible at familiy doctors, in pharmacies as well as at test centers of private companies. Overview of test centers in the city and region of Hanover

Digital records and records from foreign countries will only be accepted if shown via CovPassApp, CoronaWarnApp or Luca App.

  • When do I count as recovered and which documentation is accepted?

Persons who had been infected with SARS-CoV-2 and who can show proof of a positive PCR test result count as recoverd. A recovery certificate is valid from day 28 after a positive PCR test-result until 180 days after the test have passed.

The following documentation is accepted in combination with photo-ID:

    • recovery certificate (digital or physical format)

Tests made anywhere else (including schools) will not be accepted. Self-tests are not sufficient proof of testing, since testing has to be done by authorized personnel. Tests performed privately by medical personnel are also not accepted.

The 2Gplus rule also applies to classes at external facilities not located on SportCAMPUS.

In addition, the current hygiene and behavioural guidelines on SportCAMPUS are to be followed.
