New additions to the sports programme

From this winter semester, fitness enthusiasts can look forward to the energetic Les Mills™ Bodycombat and Shapes courses, which provide motivation and fun with powerful music and varied workouts. For fans of brain games, we are offering bridge and skat for the first time - two ideal opportunities to sharpen your strategic thinking and meet new players. We are also expanding our programme to include orienteering, which combines a sporting challenge with a sense of adventure in the great outdoors.

Warm-up week

The proof of the pudding is in the eating! For anyone interested in getting to know university sport and trying it out without obligation, we are offering the Warm-Up Week from 14 to 20 October 2024. During this week, you can try out the FitCard courses and the basic and additional programmes free of charge and without having to register.

Highlights in the winter semester

In addition to a varied course programme, there are more great highlights in store this winter. In the CAMPUSliga Winter Edition, the best football and volleyball players will be determined in a weekly league round at SportCAMPUS. Two snow sports excursions to the impressive Wildkogel and Silvretta Montafon ski resorts in Austria also take place during the semester holidays. In addition, the mixed volleyball tournament ‘Winter Night Fun’ will take place at SportCAMPUS on 12 December 2024. Another highlight is the International University Ball on 25 January 2025 in the atrium of the Welfenschloss.

We wish you a good start to the 2024/25 winter semester!
