adh-Hochschullauf

The International Day of University Sports (IDUS) will be celebrated on Saturday, September 20. The digital and free adh university run will take place on this day. Run for 60 minutes and collect kilometers for your own university. After setting a new record last year with 1,586 participants, the aim is to get as many people as possible moving again this year.

Condition:

All students, employees and former students (employees and alumni) of adh member universities can take part. Within Hannover, these are Leibniz University, Hochschule Hannover, Tierärztliche Hochschule sowie Medizinische Hochschule.

The event schedule:

The aim is to cover as many kilometers or meters in altitude as possible on foot within a 60-minute period. As a digital event, participants decide for themselves when (within the specified time window between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.) and where exactly they want to run. The results are tracked via smartwatch or running app, photographed and submitted online. Every step counts - not only for personal fitness, but also for the success of the respective university.

Prices and Awards:

Attractive prices await those who cover the greatest distance or the most vertical meters within the hour. In addition, the most active university locations will be recognized and further prizes will be raffled off among all participants.
