The German University Taekwondo Championship took place on the 19th of November 2022 - and Hannover was among the competitors. Almost 200 students from Germany's universities came together for the competition, which was organised by the University of Frankfurt. Not only experienced fighters competed, but also some Taekwondoin got their first glimpse of competition.
The two students from Leibniz University, Robyn and Vadim Blake-Rath, competed for Hanover. In the -80kg men's category, Vadim won 2nd place. Robyn narrowly missed out on 3rd place and therefore did not make it onto the podium in the -67kg women's category. We congratulate both fighters on their great performance.
