Sport im Park 2026

From May 26 to September 20, 2026, Hanover will once again become a sports hub for everyone.

The “Sport im Park” initiative of the state capital of Hanover is a diverse program of open and free sports and exercise classes that take place regularly in public spaces: on playgrounds, in parks, on grassy areas, in the Eilenriede, or on the Maschsee.

The classes are offered by various sports clubs and organizations. University Sports Hanover is also participating again this year, primarily with health-oriented classes. The focus is on inclusive sports activities that bring together people from all walks of life.
